KNUST Career Services Centre Empowers Students with Employable Skills and CV Writing Expertise

The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Career Services Centre in collaboration with the PENSA-KNUST Academic Board has organised a training program on employable skills and CV writing for KNUST students. The program was held on February 3rd, 2024 at the PENSA-KNUST Auditorium.

The training, facilitated by Mrs Selina Doe Angmor, Director of the Centre, sought to equip participants with the essential knowledge and tools to enhance their employability and improve their CV writing skills. She provided practical tips on creating a compelling CV as well as the identification and development of employable skills. She said Communication skills, Critical thinking, Creativity, Problem-solving abilities, Teamwork, Continuous learning, and Adaptability were some current industry trends and skills that employers look out for when employing graduates.

The practical session of the training gave participants hands-on experience on how to structure their CVs, highlight achievements, and tailor their documents for specific job applications.
